What is a self-pack moving container?
We arrange the container and transport while you pack your own belongings. This gives you greater control over how your items are organised.
Can I choose a 10 ft or 20 ft container?
Yes, both sizes can be quoted. Availability may vary depending on your route and location.
Do you offer interstate moving?
Yes. Tell us where you are moving from and to, and our team can advise on available interstate options.
Can I store my belongings in the container?
Yes. You can store your container at your property or at our depot, depending on availability and site access.
Is my furniture covered by insurance?
Insurance terms depend on the service selected. Standard self-pack transit cover is limited to specified major transport incidents. Ask for full terms and consider separate contents insurance for your belongings.
Can I use my own lock for the container?
Yes. You need to supply and use your own lock to secure the container.
Can I access my goods while in storage?
Yes. Access can be arranged with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to depot opening hours and access arrangements.
Who delivers and picks up the container?
We arrange delivery of the container to you and collection after loading.
Do I need a permit for the container?
A permit is generally not required when the container is placed entirely on your private property or driveway, subject to local rules. Placement on a public road or nature strip may require council approval. Please check with your local council before delivery.
Are the containers weatherproof?
Our containers are designed to be weather-resistant and protect belongings from normal weather conditions. Please keep doors closed and seals unobstructed.
What is the container weight capacity?
The maximum goods weight is up to 1,500 kg for a 10 ft container and 2,500 kg (2.5 tonnes) for a 20 ft container, subject to booking and transport requirements.
